Are you a “Warrior” or a “Worrier”?
“A true warrior fights for those who cannot fight for themselves. A real smart warrior finds a way to fight without fists and swords, but with words and truth.”
A warrior is someone who has put their trust in the Lord and God’s word and has 100 per cent confidence of who he/she is in Christ Jesus . A warrior is Christ centered. When tough times come, the Warrior stands firm in their faith and trusts God God to help them.
A worrier on the other hand is someone who is self centered. Someone who lacks understanding of the truth of God’s word and tries to live their life with the worlds limited understanding and lies. A worrier stresses out over everything and frantically runs around trying to figure everything out on their own.
The Bible says, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
This is the mindset of a warrior, whether on or off the tennis court. The warrior knows God is with them and for them and has their best interests at heart. The warrior is armed with the knowledge of God’s word because he invests time daily storing up wisdom in his heart. The warrior fights his battles on his knees in heartfelt prayer, Believing God will answer those prayers at the right time.
Today, whatever it is you’re dealing with, I want to encourage you to be a warrior, not a worrier. Seek God First, pray, then be patient and listen to what God says. Everything with work out.
“ Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”Phil:4:6-7
God Bless You.
